Jennifer Aniston Shuns Her Dying Mother?

I think now we know the reason Jennifer Aniston’s perky set is always so ready to say “hi” to the camera—the lady’s all cold inside!

The “Horrible Bosses” star has been on the outs with mother Nancy Dow since the late 90’s, when Dow released a tell-all that didn’t paint her daughter in an especially flattering light.

The two became estranged.

Aniston invited only her father, Greek actor John Aniston, to her wedding to Brad Pitt.

In 2001 Aniston said, “This is the last chunk of disease in my life—my mom.” Ouch.

But then again, Aniston has said, of her former model mother, “I don’t know if I would have known how beautiful she was if she wasn’t always pointing out how unbeautiful I was.”

This could being to explain Aniston’s self-professed life-long struggle with a “sense of shame” and “low self-esteem.”

Dow, however, suffered a stroke after a surgery for a broken shoulder, back in November, and has been hospitalized since.

Word is that the oh-so famous “Friends” star hasn’t been by to see her mother. A source close to Dow said, “She hasn’t talked to or visited Nancy once since she was admitted. She should’ve been there for the shoulder surgery alone! And the stroke is really serious. Nancy is an old lady, and she’s very sick; it’s breaking her heart that Jen is ignoring her.”

The two briefly reconciled after Aniston’s split from Brad Pitt, but apparently the rift was too deep.

Are you team Dow or team Aniston in this nasty family drama?
