Jennifer Aniston and Demi Moore to Direct Lifetime Short Films About Breast Cancer

Jennifer Aniston and Demi Moore have been in front of the camera plenty of times in their careers, but soon they'll be stepping behind the camera...and for a great cause, too!

Aniston and Moore will be joined by Alicia Keys and filmmaker Patty Jenkins in directing a set of short films for the Lifetime network. The films will be present as part of "Project Five," which aims to raise awareness about breast cancer by releasing these five short films. Each one will focus on breast cancer as a topic.

Aniston, who is heavily involved in charity work and has supported cancer charities in the past, released a statement on the new project: "Our hope with Project Five is to entertain, inform and inspire dialogue, research and prevention. Otherwise, our goals are small,” said the "Friends" star.

“We want these films to move people and empower those affected by breast cancer to stand tall through this challenge, which impacts ALL of our lives, no matter who we are."

Five writers, both male and female, who have written for shows like "Dexter," "Spin City" and "The Closer," have written the scripts. There's no air date for the short films set as of now, but they should be expected later this year.
