Is Jenelle Evans Bringing an End to 'Teen Mom?'
by Shannon KeirnanWill the out-of-control behavior of wild “Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans bring about an end to the show?
The 21-year-old from North Carolina is being called “a liability” by insiders, who suggest that her negative publicity might be causing MTV producers to reconsider their position.
“The way she’s going, she could literally die, and MTV will be blamed for it,” said a source for the show. The insider added that MTV “should have just taken away all her Twitters and Facebooks.”
Is that the equivalent of MTV grounding you?
MTV, however, said in a statement that the future of a fifth season of “Teen Mom 2” still hangs in the air.
“No decision has been made yet regarding a fifth season of Teen Mom 2, but the network is planning to air the fourth season this year and will announce thepremiere date soon.”
Evans is racking up quite a lot of drama for herself. The past year and to this point, Evans has faced a forced rehab stint for heroine addiction, sold photographs of her breast enlargement and leaked other nude photos, been arrested (for the 7th time), accused two ex’s of domestic violence, gotten pregnant, gotten married, had a miscarriage, and dumped her husband via Twitter.
In fact pretty much every moment of these dramas has been publicly accessible via Evans’ Twitter and personal social media accounts, adding to MTV’s embarrassments.
Former “Teen Mom” star Amber Portland’s antics shut down the original “Teen Mom.” Will Evans be putting the nail in the coffin for its successor?
