Jena Malone Now Rumored for Johanna Mason in 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire'

Could a "Sucker Punch" girl be the next tribute in "The Hunger Games?"

Rumor has it that Jena Malone, who co-starred in "Sucker Punch," is being strongly considered for the role of Johanna Mason in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." Now that the rumor mill around the casting of Finnick Odair has calmed down, it seems that Johanna is the next role that everyone is curious about.

Malone could fit the role nicely, too: Johanna is a former victor of the Games, having gotten through on her toughness and combat skills. Her personality can be abrasive, and she and Katniss often find themselves at odds. Malone has shown stunt capabilities in "Sucker Punch," and has a knack for playing slightly unlikeable characters without making them unbearable, as shown by her portrayal of Lydia in "Pride and Prejudice."

For now, there aren't too many other names up for the role. Mia Wasikowska was rumored, but that has since been struck down. Model and newbie actress Zoe Aggeliki is also rumored to be in consideration. And then there's the case of "Glee" star Naya Rivera, who voiced her own desire to be in the movie and sparked a fan campaign to put her in consideration.

What do you think, "Hunger Games" fans? Would Jena Malone be right for Johanna, or would you rather see Naya or another actress in the role?
