Congrats, Jason Castro!  'American Idol' Finalist Is Going to Be a Poppa Jason Castro, the deadheaded "American Idol" contestant who made ‘Hallelujah’ his own, will be welcoming his own miracle in August.

The 24 year-old singer-songwriter announced that he and his wife, Mandy Mayhall are expecting a daughter.

On his official website, Castro said, "I am excited to announce that there will be a new addition to the Castro family! My wife and I are expecting our first child this August. We just found out yesterday that it is going to be a girl! haha that makes me laugh... what am i going to do with a sweet little girl?! probably just smile alot...I cannot wait!!! It's an exciting time..."

From head to toe, Castro’s unique soulful style made an impression on fans – so much that his cover of Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s “Over the Rainbow” bumped to #6 on iTunes Top 20. Additionally, His cover of Jeff Buckley’s “Hallelujah” made an appearance in the number one spot.
