James Marsden to Appear in '30 Rock' Six-Episode Arc

James Marsden to Appear in '30 Rock' Six-Episode Arc When we last saw James Marsden, he was brutally murdering home invaders in "Straw Dogs." But before that, he played all kinds of roles from the heroic (Cyclops in "X-Men") to the cute and cuddly ("Hop" and "Enchanted").

Now Marsden has landed one of the more prestigious guest spots in television comedy: a multi-episode arc on "30 Rock."

Okay, so the show's numbers aren't always great, but "30 Rock" has had a long line of big guest stars including "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm, SAG and Emmy nominee (and "Twilight: Breaking Dawn" star) Michael Sheen, and most recently Oscar winner Matt Damon.

Marsden has signed on for a six-episode arc, plenty long enough to develop a strong storyline. Usually when a handsome actor signs on for a multi on "30 Rock" he ends up playing a love interest for the perpetually single Liz Lemon... is that what we're going to see with Marsden? For now, details are being kept under wraps, but we'll find out this winter.
