It's Official: Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Are a Thing

As if you needed another reason to watch The Voice, now you can tune in to see if there's anything exciting happening in the romance between two of the show's coaches, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Stefani's rep confirmed on Wednesday that the pair are now officially dating, the culmination of years of flirting and being "longtime friends."

Both singers are coming out of recently ended marriages. Shelton split from fellow country singer Miranda Lambert in July of this year after four years of marriage. Stefani ended her 13-year marriage to Gavin Rossdale, lead singer of 90s rock band Bush, in August.

Shelton and Stefani have been working together on The Voice since 2014, when Stefani replaced Shakira on the panel of coaches for the show's seventh season.

Lambert seemed to be handling the news gracefully. Wednesday night's CMA Awards show began with hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley made jokes about the couple's divorce, hinting that Shelton might be guilty of infidelity.

"Carrie, have you heard that duet that Blake did with Ashley Madison?," Paisley quipped during the show's opening.

Later in the evening, Lambert told the audience that she needed "a bright spot" during her tough year, and that bright spot came in the form of the Female Vocalist of the Year award that she took home.
