Just in Time for 'Rango' Release: Isla Fisher Keeps It PG Thanks To Tom Ford

Where was Tom Ford in 2004 when Janet Jackson’s famous Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction outraged America?

Luckily for Isla Fisher, Ford (whom she calls her ”fashion angel”) was waiting in the wings of the Vanity Fair Oscar party when a too-enthusiastic hug from Larry David caused her dress strap to snap.

“I was exposed,” she told Jimmy Fallon on “Late Night.”

"But only at the Vanity Fair party, the crowds parted, and there appeared my fashion angel in the name of Tom Ford, who had on him a cufflink, a wire coat hanger and a candlestick."

Ford’s handiwork has earned him a comparison to MacGyver and many thanks.

Now Fisher can breath easy, keeping things PG, as she prepares to be christened into animation in the upcoming flick “Rango.”

The film hits theatres Friday, March 4 and also features Johnny Depp and Abigail Breslin as outrageous characters in the Wild West. Audiences will follow the transformative adventure of Rango (Depp), as he embarks on a heroic search for identity that leads the family pet chameleon on a journey into a gritty, lawless outpost in the desert.
