Inception star Leonardo DiCaprio named 2010 highest grossing actor

We all know that the top Hollywood actors earn millions of dollars every year, but star of the recent Sci-Fi blockbuster Inception, Leonardo DiCaprio, has surpassed himself this year.

The Hollywood star has been named as the Forbes.com 2010 highest grossing actor because of his strong acting skills, and his huge box office hits including Inception and Shutter Island.

Forbes reported that DiCaprio has managed to gross £1.1 billion as a result of his movie magic, putting him at the top of the Forbes.com list.

All that money will certainly come in useful for DiCaprio, as there are now rumours that he plans to marry his girlfriend of five years, Bar Refaeli, who is from Israel.

In fact, DiCaprio has made a number of secret trips to Israel, and has taken a strong interest in the religion. It has also been reported that the star is turning to Judaism, and therefore will not be dressing up in drag in Clint Eastwood's up and coming movie about J Edgar Hoover.

One report stated: “Leo’s sudden intense interest in Israel, its culture and religion is the clearest sign yet that he intends to marry Bar.” The source added: “He has been staying with her in a hotel in Tel Aviv for a few days at a time recently so that he can avoid the photographers outside her apartment in a nearby suburb. Now he is looking into converting for her.”

DiCaprio has revealed earlier this year that he would like to start a family at some point, and he said: “I don’t think I need to have children to play a father in the movies. This feeling is in me, I understand it completely. In my private life, I still have time to become a dad, and I’ve no desire to rush.”
