'InAPPropriate Comedy' is Another Box Office Bust Featuring Lindsay Lohan

Raise your hand if you realized that Lindsay Lohan was in a film this weekend. Anyone? No?

It’s true, however. “InAPPropriate Comedy,” which also features Michelle Rodriguez, Adrien Brody, and Rob Schneider, hit box offices with an incredibly low $625 per spot.

It brought in just $172,000 from 275 total theaters this weekend, giving it one of the worst box office debuts since “The Oogieloves in the BIG Balloon Adventure.”

Ouch.

According to some critics, that may even be too much.

Frank Scheck of Hollywood Reporter says“This painfully unfunny assemblage of would-be comedy sketches manages to make Movie 43 look good in retrospect,” and Lou Lumenick of New York Post simply calls it “An inept, brutally unfunny collection of sketches.”

Should I mention this was directed by Vince Offer—the “ShamWow” guy who will never live down the time he was accused of beating up and biting a prostitute? Maybe that explains things a bit better.

The movie describes itself as “a no-holds barred sketch movie starring Academy Award-winner Adrien Brody as ‘Flirty Harry,’ a tough, no nonsense cop with a soft middle and a flair for fashion; Rob Schneider in a dual role as both a sleazy, horny psychologist and a curmudgeonly porn critic alongside his enthusiastic counterpart Michelle Rodriguez; Lindsay Lohan living out her fantasy of taking an ultimate revenge on the salivating paparazzi who haunt her, and Ari Shaffir as ‘The Amazing Racist,’ whose hilariously offensive hidden-camera encounters with members of different ethnic and minority groups push everyone's buttons.”

Apparently it followswhat happens when “a computer tablet full of the world’s most hilariously offensive apps breaks through the borders of political correctness, stirring up cultural anarchy.”

Save your money.
