Enrique Iglesias Backs Out on Britney

Hours after Britney Spears announced she was going on tour with Enrique Iglesias, the Latin singer backed out.

As Billboard reports, Iglesias dropped out of the show without citing why. However, speculation rests on the fact that the shared billing of two A-list celebrities would amount to incredibly high production costs.

“Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work. He is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone,” his rep told JustJared.com in a statement.

Iglesias is currently on tour in Europe, promoting his album, “Euphoria.”  Accoding to JustJared, Iglesias was also approached for a judging position on “The X-Factor.”

Not holding it against Iglesias, Spears seemed to be taking the loss in stride as she was seen rocking Jimmy Kimmel's stage Tuesday night.
