Idol Insider: Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith Will Perform on 'American Idol' Stage

"American Idol" is redeeming itself more and more each day.
At the beginning of season 10 fans of "American Idol" were excited, yet cautious, to hear that two new judges would be on the panel this round. Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler both joined vet Randy Jackson to judge the world's most popular singing contest.
So far, so good...
With more exciting music and incredible talent, the Fox series has managed to grab high ratings and praise from fans and former contests alike.
Now, things have heated up even more on the "Idol" stage with confirmation that Lopez and Tyler will perform before season's end.
"American Idol" executive producer Nigel Lythgoe confirmed to xfinitytv.com that pop-sensation Lopez and legendary group Aerosmith will indeed provide entertainment.
Will the performances take place during the finale? Fortunately we won't have to wait that long. Lythgoe hinted, "It will probably be before that, actually."
