Identity of 'A' to Be Revealed in 'Pretty Little Liars' Finale; Show Starts Again Jan. 2nd The identity of the creepy 'Pretty Little Liars" stalker "A" has been the mystery at the center of the popular ABC Family show from the beginning, and, according to the series' producers, that mystery will soon unravel.

Creator and Executive Producer Marlene King told Entertainment Weekly today that the show's biggest question will be answered in the season finale on March 13th.

"We’re running on adrenaline to the finish line,” King told EW.

“This finale is virgin territory in the sense that we are answering some ultra huge questions. We’re giving the audience a lot to digest and talk about between seasons two and three. For the entire cast and crew, lips are sealed and excitement is at an all time high. To steal a line from the finale script, ‘This feels big,” said King.

EW also dropped another big spoiler on the finale:

Someone will apparently finally be arrested for the murder of Allison and a support character will also die.

With the exception of a special Halloween episode, "Pretty LIttle Liars" has been on midseason hiatus since late August. The show returns to ABC Family on January 2nd at 8:00 p.m. EST.
