'How I Met Your Mother' Season 9 Spoilers!

It is almost that time again, folks. One of our favorite shows is coming back for their 9th and final season. Having just introduced the mother in a very nasty cliffhanger, what lies ahead for the rest of season 9?

Here’s what we know so far:

1) Episode 1 will be titled “The Locket”. Episodes 2 and 3 will be titled “Coming Back” and “The Broken Code”. Make of those what you will.

2) Wayne Brady, who plays Barney Stinson’s gay brother James, has confirmed that he will be returning this season after a curiously long absence. The last we saw of him, he and his partner had let Barney know that he was an uncle.

3) Cristin Milioti is, indeed, a series regular this season. She was introduced in the season finale of season 8 as The Mother (it only took 8 years to see a glimpse of her). So season 9, she will be featured in many episode. Perhaps we might even learn her name!

4) The entire season will take place during Barney and Robin’s wedding weekend. How will they squeeze out 20-some episodes from 2 days’ time? Well, “How I Met Your Mother” is infamous for its flashbacks, so things will all work out.

That’s all that we know for now, but with Comic-con right around the corner, and with the cast and crew set to have their very first panel, we can expect so more information to begin slipping out very soon.
