'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Casts its Wiress

Another name has been added to the list of former victors in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," as EW is reporting that Amanda Plummer has been cast as Wiress.

You might recognize Plummer from her role as Yolanda (or Honey Bunny) in that famous diner scene from "Pulp Fiction." Plummer has shown a lot of versatility in her career, having taken on roles in "So I Married an Ax Murderer," "Red," "Battlestar Galactica," and a number of animated features, such as Disney's "Hercules."

Those who have read Catching Fire are well aware of Wiress' role in things, but for those who haven't, here's a spoiler-free primer: Wiress is a former victor of The Hunger Games who hails from District 3. She becomes a friend and ally of sorts for Katniss, despite her distracted nature (which earned her the nickname "Nuts" from fellow victor Johanna Mason).

Plummer will be joining a cast that includes new members Jena Malone as Johanna and Oscar winner Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, as well as returning stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland.
