Hulu Picks Up 'Selfie' to Air Remaining Episodes for Fans

Get your Selfie-snapping finger ready, because "Selfie" isn't dead just yet!

The comedy was recently canceled by ABC after lackluster ratings left it lagging behind other shows on the network. ABC pulled the plug on production and aired the last episode it would air on November 11.

However, it now looks like Hulu will pick up where ABC left off, airing the remainder of the first season of "Selfie" and completing the 13-episode run.

Hulu has not offered the show any kind of season pickup, however, so this doesn't look like a deal where the streamer will be making new episodes a la Netflix and "Arrested Development."

The comedy, which stars Karen Gillian and John Cho, was not well reviewed by critics out of the gate, but improved slightly as the season went on. The ratings went in the opposite direction, though, dropping from the series premiere's 5.3 million and a weak 1.6 in the demo.

There are six remaining episodes of "Selfie," all of which will be available on Hulu, one at a time on a weekly basis, over the next five weeks. Here's hoping the writers made a satisfying ending for the first season.
