Hugh Jackman Attacker Arrested

Hugh Jackman is, as always, a “super nice guy.”

Even, apparently, when stalked.

Sunday saw the arrest of a woman for stalking, after she attacked Hugh Jackman while he was working out at his New York gym… with an electric razor.

Katherine Thurston, 47, was arrested a few blocks away from the gym after the incident, a New York police spokeswoman said.

Thurston reportedly shouted that she loved the actor and then threw an electric razor, which was filled with hair clippings, at Jackman.

"I suppose for me the primary concern is my family, obviously," said the “Les Miserables” actor. "But, you know, here's a woman who obviously needs help, so I just hope she gets the help she needs."

"He was more alarmed than scared," says his publicist Alan Nierob, who explains Jackman thought the woman was reaching for a weapon. She had been seen before by the actor, outside of his home and his daughter’s school, he added.

Witnesses at the gym told policethe woman took out the razor inside the gym and followed Jackman "for an extended period of time."

Mike Castle, a trainer at Gotham Gym, saw Thurston enter crying. She went past the check-in desk and went straight for Jackman, according to Castle. "The razor fell out of her hands when I stepped in between them," Castle added. Jackson reportedly asked Thurston not to touch him.

Jackman had the situation under control, Castle said. "(He's) a super nice guy."
