'House' Music: Watch Hugh Laurie's First Music Video 'The Whale Has Swallowed Me'

First Gwyneth, then Jeff, and now Hugh. Dr. House, aka British actor Hugh Laurie, has decided to use his spare time in between acting gigs to make an album.

Unlike Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeff Bridges, Laurie decided to stay away from country music, and instead chose the blues.

Laurie's first album is titled "Let Them Talk," as in, "Yes, I was not born in the American South in the 1900's, and I'm making a blues album, and some people aren't going to like that...let them talk." Sure enough, the album has been met with mixed reviews thus far.

The first music video off the album has been released, so you can get an idea of what kind of sound you get from a British actor singing the blues.

At least he has the American accent down. The track is called "The Whale Has Swallowed Me," which is a metaphor, people, so don't worry about the status of the upcoming season of "House" with its star stuck in the belly of a whale.
