'House of Cards' Teaser Reveals Season 3 Premiere Date
by Andy NeuenschwanderHail to the Chief!
"House of Cards" is getting closer and closer to its return, and Netflix has the teaser trailer to prove it. The video is short, but it does confirm the season three premiere date: Februrary 27, 2015.
In the teaser, we see our new President and First Lady, Frank and Claire Underwood, heading up the steps onto Air Force One as we watch from the window. Frank turns to us and gives us a subtle wink, as if to welcome us back in his own way.
Though Netflix doesn't release the official viewership numbers for their original programs, we have to assume the show is doing well. Netflix gave the series a confident renewal for season three after a tumultuous second season that saw Kevin Spacey's Frank Underwood scheming and manipulating his way to the top.
The teaser was unveiled on the show's official Twitter account, with the simple but effective caption, "A special message from the White House."
