Hooray for NBC Comedies! 'The Office,' 'Parks & Recreation' and 'Community': Who Got Renewed? If you're a fan of NBC's Thursday night lineup, then here's some news that will make you happy: "The Office," "Parks and Recreation," and "Community" have all been renewed for the fall, so we will be seeing another season from all three!

It's no surprise for "Parks & Recreation," which has been enjoying some success in the ratings with additions of regulars like Adam Scott and Rob Lowe. The Amy Pohler mockumentary mirrors "The Office" in many ways stylistically, and it looks like it might mirror the show in terms of longevity as well.

The renewal of "The Office" is a bit more of a surprise, as Steve Carell has already left the show. The last three episodes of the season will be without Michael Scott, but now that the team knows they have another season, those episodes can be spent setting up a new Dunder-Mifflin.

Will an outsider be brought in as the new manager? How long will guest star Will Ferrell stick around? Will once-manager Jim take over the job?

"Community" could have gone either way as the show has been suffering a bit in the ratings, but I'm thrilled to see that it will be back. With only a few million viewers each week, the show's renewal can probably be attributed to the exceptionally loyal and vocal fan base of the show.

There's no word yet on the other Thursday shows, "30 Rock" and "Outsourced." There's no reason to believe that the critically-acclaimed "30 Rock" won't enjoy yet another season, but "Outsourced" is reportedly on the bubble and might not make it.
