'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' Teaser Trailer!

"Will you follow me one last time?"

Over the weekend, Comic-Con fans got to see a sneak peek at the third and final installment of "The Hobbit" franchise. Now, that teaser trailer has been released for the rest of us.

Obviously, teaser trailers can only reveal so much. Dialog is slim in this one, with just a hint of Bilbo's conflict, but there's plenty of action. Tons, even. Basically, everyone is in peril for the entire two-or-so minutes. It's Peter Jackson doing what Peter Jackson does best.

Since the films were split from an original two into three full-length (and then some) features, "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" is rumored to have a lot of filler material, with little additional having been been filmed after "An Unexpected Journey" and "The Desolation of Smaug" wrapped.

Judging from the trailer, we're guessing a lot of that filler is going to appear in the form of battles and chases - and we're not that mad about it.

Interestingly, Pippin's haunting song from "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" is used beneath all the action, and the effect is gut-wrenching.

"Battle of the Five Armies" stars Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ian McKellen, Lee Pace, Richard Armitage, Aidan Turner, Luke Evans, Evangeline Lilly, Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, and tons of other big names.

What will happen to Bilbo and his group? We'll find out December of this year.
