Here's Your 'Homeland' Season 4 Trailer

Four seasons in, it's still the same ol' Carrie.

The first-look trailer for "Homeland" season 4 is out, and it's definitely intense. Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) looks to have already given birth to her baby, but exactly where the baby is, we're not sure...because she sure as heck isn't going with Carrie to Pakistan.

Most of the action of the trailer follows Carrie around Pakistan, a departure from her plan to set up shop in Istanbul as the CIA station chief there.

We get some glimpses of Saul, Peter Quinn, and Dar Adal as well. Saul will be working with Carrie on whatever mission it is she's covering in Pakistan. It's unclear from the trailer exactly what she's up to, but given all the riots, explosions and gunfire, it looks like something serious.

But if there's anything "Homeland" fans can count on, it's that their slightly unhinged protagonist won't let motherhood change her, at least not much: Carrie can be seen popping some pills with some wine in the trailer as well.

The fourth season of "Homeland" premieres on October 5 on Showtime.
