Here's Christopher Walken as Captain Hook in the Peter Pan Musical

Here's Christopher Walken as Captain Hook in the Peter Pan Musical We're just going to say it: Christopher Walken is a little less sexy than Colin O'Donoghue when it comes to Captain Hooks.

The veteran actor appeared today in a photo from NBC as Captain Hook, showing off his new duds for the upcoming live Peter Pan musical that the network will be airing this fall.

In the photo, Walken is dressed up head to toe and looking plenty evil as the one-handed, gator-fearing pirate captain. The look is even completed with a dastardly mustache, some rouged cheeks and a fake mole.

Also featured in the photo is Walken's co-star Allison Williams, famous for her role as Marnie on "Girls." Williams' promotional photo as the titular Pan was already released, but we'd argue she looks a little more boyish in this one. Which is a good thing.

Walken is a trained dancer, and showed off some of his moves in the famous "Weapon of Choice" music video by Fatboy Slim. However, Walken noted in an interview that he was not hired for his singing voice.

"I’m not a good singer,” Walken said. “The songs are done almost like patter. Think Rex Harrison in 'My Fair Lady.' "

We'll take it!

The live "Peter Pan" musical is a follow-up to last year's "The Sound of Music Live!" NBC's experiment in live theater on stage turned out well for the network, with live ratings strong enough to immediately start a discussion of which musical NBC would tackle next.

The production will air live on NBC starting at 8pm on December 4. Check out the full photo below:
