Here Are the New Female 'Ghostbusters' Costumes

We've heard all the rumors and even seen a couple of on-set photos, but a big new development in the all-female "Ghostbusters" reboot hit the Internet today.

The new costumes have been revealed!

Director Paul Feig revealed the costumes via his Twitter account today, showing the outfits for Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones hanging on a clothing rack.

From the looks of them, it seems that the costumes have gotten a bit of an update while staying close to the original designs. The majority of the fabric is still that classic tan and they seem to be accompanied by heavy black boots and gloves, and the logo on the arm is unchanged as of now. However, the suits have new orange and grey stripes across the body, making these look a little more like a firefighter's outfit.

While this is exciting for "Ghostbusters" fans, there was a bit of bad news as well today as it seems that the Channing Tatum "Ghostbusters" project that was supposed to be set in the same world as the Paul Feig project is no longer happening.

That might be good, though, as we don't want to suffer from franchise fatigue too early. If this new "Ghostbusters" is a hit (and with that cast, we're betting on it), we're going to want to see a lot more of it.
