Henry Cavill and Amy Adams Take Ice Bucket Challenge as Superman and Lois Lane

Superman usually uses his powers to save people, but this time he's going the charity route.

Henry Cavill and Amy Adams took some time on the set of "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" to respond to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge...and they both did it in costume!

Adams, who played Lois Lane in "Man of Steel" and reprises the role in the upcoming film, sits dressed as the Daily Planet reporter as she introduces the video and rattles off her challenges. Cavill, dressed head to toe in his Superman regalia, is very quiet...and you see why as soon as the water starts coming.

Adams gets off easy with just one decent-sized bucket, but Cavil gets bucket after bucket of water, which turn into tubs, which turn into trash cans. And it does not look like a particularly warm and sunny day, either!

There's been quite a bit of buzz around the upcoming movie, starting with the casting of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Fans continued to argue back and forth about casting choices as Jesse Eisenberg was cast as Lex Luthor and "Fast & Furious" star Gal Gadot landed the role of Wonder Woman.

More recently, "Game of Thrones" star Jason Momoa has been rumored as Aquaman, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been rumored as Captain Marvel or Black Adam, and Scoot McNairy of "Argo" has been rumored as The Flash.
