Heidi Klum Joins 'America's Got Talent'

Heidi Klum Joins 'America's Got Talent' “America’s Got Talent” has announced that, for the first time in the U.S. version of the competitive show, they will be bringing a fourth judge on board for their eighth season.

So who is the lucky individual? It’s “Project Runway” alum and German model Heidi Klum!

Klum will join another newcomer, Mel B., as well as regulars Howie Mandel and Howard Stern.

The deal, which is “last-minute,” as the show begins taping tomorrow, will bring Klum on board as the team heads to the first round of auditions in New Orleans.

Previously, Sharon Osbourne held the slot. However, Osbourne quit after seven seasons, alleging that NBC fired her son Jack from the competitive reality show “Stars Earn Stripes” after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

"It's discrimination, and it was badly handled,” Osbourne said of the decision. By breaking contract with the network, Osbourne will not be able to serve as a judge on another network for five years.

NBC has denied the allegations, claiming that no official contract with Jack had been signed, although they were in “talks” with him.

"Sharon has been a valuable part of the NBC family. We regret any misunderstanding and wish Jack well," an NBC rep said in a statement.

While Melanie Brown of the Spice Girls stepped in to fill the empty role, there were rumors that show producers were considering adding a fourth judge.

Klum reportedly left “Project Runway” last year after contractual discussions failed to impress the 39-year-old.

Do you think she will make a good addition to the show?
