Heather Locklear Hospitalized Following Alleged Drug & Alcohol Overdose

Heather Locklear Hospitalized Following Alleged Drug & Alcohol Overdose An alleged Thursday drug overdose has Heather Locklear hospitalized today, but the International Business Times reports that she's now in stable condition.

Thousand Oaks (Calif.) Hospital admitted the former "Melrose Place" and "T.J. Hooker" actress following an emergency call by Locklear's sister. Her sister told Ventura County 911 around 2:05 PM that she believed Locklear had suffered from "a dangerous mix of prescription drugs and alcohol," according to TMZ. It's been speculated online but not confirmed that if it was indeed an overdose, it may have been a suicide attempt.

"She's in no danger and she's going to be just fine," said parents Bill and Diane Locklear via released statement.

It wouldn't be the first time such a rumor has circulated. Locklear also suffered a similar alleged 2008 overdose, which her physician phoned in and reported as a suicide attempt. That was later written off as a false alarm, but Locklear shortly after entered an Arizona rehab facility seeking depression and anxiety treatment.

Locklear had until recently been dating former "Melrose Place" co-star Jack Wagner, but announced the the pair's engagement to be married had been called off. She'd previously made it known this past August that the two planned on getting married after seeing one another since 2007.

It would've been her third marriage. Her union with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee ended in 1993. Shortly after that, she married Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, with whom she had her only child, a daughter named Ava born in 1997.

Sambora and Locklear divorced in 2007. Shortly after, Sambora - and, indirectly, Locklear - made tabloid headlines again when Sambora began a relationship with Locklear's then-friend Denise Richards.
