Hear 'Community' Creator Dan Harmon Humorously Rant About Pretty Much Everything
by Andy NeuenschwanderHey, remember a while back when "Community" creator Dan Harmon got in big trouble for ranting about Chevy Chase and had to publicly apologize for it, but then ended up getting fired later for that and other reasons?
Well, that particular rant happened during a performance of "Harmontown," which is the name of Harmon's live show that he does on occasion in Los Angeles. It's generally an intimate affair, as the small Nerdist Theater at Meltdown Comics where it is performed only holds 150 people or so, which is probably why Harmon felt it was a safe place to go off about Chase. Of course, people have smartphones and blah blah.
Now that Harmon has been sacked as showrunner of "Community," though, he's a bit more free to do what he likes. As a result, he has been doing more shows and is now providing audio of said shows for free on iTunes as a podcast. It's just him and comedian/writer Jeff Davis talking about colonies on the moon and sadness and apparently Chevy Chase and stuff.
In any case, if you're a fan of "Community," you might enjoy listening to Harmontown. You might also enjoy it if you're a fan of scandal.
