He Put a Ring On It! 'Dancing With The Stars' Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Gets Engaged on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (Video)

What a guy!

This morning on "Live with Regis and Kelly" Carrie Ann Inaba, judge on "Dancing with the Stars," got the proposal of a lifetime: her boyfriend, accountant Jesse Sloan, popped the question while on air.

Inaba was in the midst of cohosting the program with Regis Philbin, filling in for Kelly Ripa, when Sloan came from backstage in a suit and did his thing.

The 12-time "DWTS" judge of course said yes but the surprise was almost blown by guest Jake Gyllenhaal.

Gyllenhaal was on the morning talk show promoting his new film "Source Code" which hits U.S. theaters tomorrow. He came onstage with Inaba's engagement ring in hand, joking with her about "lying about not being engaged." A confused Inaba even tried the ring on, not knowing it was actually meant for her.

During the final segment of the show, Philbin answered questions from fans. To continue with the "weddings and proposals" themes, Reg read an email from a "fan" asking how he should propose to his girlfriend.

As Philbin gave the advice, the studio lights dimmed, music played and out came a nervous but smiling Sloan.
