HBO Finale Ratings: 'True Blood,' 'Entourage' and 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Soar

HBO Finale Ratings: 'True Blood,' 'Entourage' and 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Soar This Sunday was a sad one for HBO fans, as "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "True Blood" ended their seasons and "Entourage" had its final finale (later, bro).

How did they do? Pretty well, it turns out.

"True Blood" was the only show that was down from its last season's finale, as the season four ender pulled in 5.1 million in the first airing, down from 5.3 million from the season three finale last year.

It's doubtful that anyone in the "True Blood" camp is complaining, though, as the show managed to pull in an average of 12.6 million viewers each week this season when you factor in repeat airings and DVR/On Demand views. Those are pretty stellar numbers for a premium cable show.

"Curb Your Enthusiasm"s' numbers were less eye-popping, but the show still managed its highest-rated finale since 2004: the finale episode, which featured Michael J. Fox as a guest-star, had 2 million viewers in its first airing, with about 400,000 more on the repeat.

"Entourage" ended with the most viewers this season at 2.6 million. That wrapped up the entire series with a finale that left some satisfied and others wishing for more...however, there's a good chance that an "Entourage" movie could be put together in a couple of years, taking a cue from "Sex and the City."
