Hawaii Five-0: Palekaiko - Season 1 Episode 11 Recap (Spoilers!)

In episode titled 'Palekaiko' of Hawaii Five-0, it begins with a woman runnning through the jungle in a panic and claiming that she has been kidnapped and attacked. Her new husband is then found dead in the hotel room. The couple was on their honeymoon and then something happened but she remembers nothing.

In a random twist of events, it turns out the man is very wealthy and the woman was was from the opposite side of the economic scale.  This causes the mother-in-law to be suspicious of the death thinking her new daughter-in-law, of who she didn't approve, could be involved in the murder.

The team begins investigating and find out this was the work of a serial killer who stalks couples on their honeymoon and kills the couple in the same fashion, one case after another. The distinct pattern makes it possible for them to track him down. He's a man who was left at the altar and is exacting revenge on women who look like his ex-fiance. Sick. Like really sick.

Luckily they get the guy but it's after a long chase on cruise ship (his mode of transportation to get from one couple to another on their honeymoon), through a costal town and so on.

This case was just kinda weird because the guy knew so much about each couple and had researched them to pick his victims. And he did it each year on the anniversary of what would have been his wedding date and honeymoon. The guy had some serious issues.

Steve also gets important information, his mother's death was not an accident as he had thought since he was young. It was a homicide. And that's exactly what his dad had been investigating before his death...
