It Has Begun: Jill Duggar of '19 Kids and Counting' Is Already Pregnant It's time to start the counting back at one.

Jill Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting" is pregnant with her first child, as confirmed by Duggar and TLC, who airs the show. The news comes just two months after Duggar married her husband, Derrick Dillard, in a ceremony that will be the focus of the upcoming season of the show.

Duggar and Dillard started their relationship over Skype, as Dillard was working in Nepal at the time. The show followed Duggar (accompanied by her father) as she flew to Nepal to meet Dillard and begin their courtship. Shortly after he returned to the States, Dillard proposed.

The quickness of the pregnancy isn't much of a surprise considering that Duggar's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, have 19 children. Procreation is sort of a "thing" in the Duggar family. Yet, Sillard said that they were surprised by the positive pregnancy test.

"It was surreal," Dillard said. "We were shocked. Both of us are so excited."

Jill will be the first Duggar daughter to give birth, but the baby will be the fourth grandchild to Jim Bob and Michelle; their older son Josh already has three children.

Meanwhile, news broke recently that Jill's younger sister Jessa is engaged to her boyfriend Ben Seewald. The couple also plans to have a number of kids.
