Harvey Weinstein Fired Anne Heche for Refusing Sex

Quantico alum Anne Heche says that she is one of the many women that producer Harvey Weinstein sexually abused, although she refused to cave in to his sexual demands. As a result, Heche says, she was fired from a project she was working on with Weinstein's company. Heche says that Weinstein attempted to take advantage of her when she was young and her career was precarious, and when she turned down his aggressive advances, he retaliated.

Anne Heche is the latest star to accuse Harvey Weinstein of sabotaging her career when she denied him oral sex.
“There is no bigger monster [than Weinstein]. It’s great that’s he’s being taken down,” Heche, 48, said on the “Allegedly with Theo Vonn & Matthew Cole Weiss” podcast, released Wednesday.
“I personally did not suck Harvey’s d—k, although he showed it to me and I got out of the room before there was any physical contact,” she revealed. “The fact is, I was fired from a job that I had been hired for in Miramax. The repercussions of standing up for yourself were as deep and targeted as some of the scars of the women who actually got more physically, unfortunately, involved.”
Heche didn’t specify what the Miramax project was, but noted she was young at the time of the incident.
“First of all, you were threatened the second you walk out the door … That’s why every one of us was 19, 20, 21 or 22. He didn’t go after the 40-year-old woman,” she said. “He hits on me when I’m 19, 20, 21, 22, vulnerable, scared, frightened. And that doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen anymore, but it sure as hell got a kick in the pants the last couple of months.”
“If I wasn’t sexually abused as a child, I don’t know if I would have had the strength to stand up to Harvey and many others,” the “Donnie Brasco” star said, referencing the molestation she suffered at the hands of her father. “It was not just Harvey, and I will say that. The callousness I had towards anybody trying to take advantage of me was huge.”
