Halle Berry Takes Ex Gabriel Aubry to Court Over Daughter Nahla's Hair

Halle Berry Takes Ex Gabriel Aubry to Court Over Daughter Nahla's Hair Halle Berry is taking her ex, Gabriel Aubry, back to court over her daughter. Only this time, it's all about Nahla's hair.

According to sources, Berry and Aubry were in court over an interesting custody disagreement deciding whether or not Nahla's hair should be changed from its natural state.

Berry claims that Aubry, who is white, straightened and highlighted Nahla's hair to make her look less African-American. Nahla, age 6, would be one-quarter African-American, as Berry is the daughter of a white mother and black father.

The case was brought to court today, and the judge reportedly gave a quick verdict: neither Berry nor Aubry are allowed from this point on to change Nahla's natural hair color or texture. That's probably good, considering that she's only 6 years old.

The divorce between Berry and Aubry has been a bitter one, with the couple having dealt with a long custody battle and tough negotiations over alimony payments from Berry. The custody agreement was brought back up a couple of years ago when Berry wanted to move to France, citing harrassment from American paparazzi and an alleged stalker as reasons to want to leave the country.

Things had settled down of late, and Berry is now married to French actor Olivier Martinez. The two have a 1-year-old son, Maceo. As of yet, his hair has not been a concern.
