Had It With These Motherf**king Cyborgs: Samuel L. Jackson to Star in 'Robocop'

He's had it with these muthaf*cking cyborgs in this muthaf*cking post-apocalyptic future.

THR reports that Samuel L. Jackson has joined the reboot of "RoboCop," playing media mogul Pat Novak. The character doesn't exist (by that name, anyway) in the original movie, so it's tough to say at this point whether or not Jackson's character will be a hero, villain or something in between.

You may find yourself saying, "Wait. Hold on. There's a 'Robocop' reboot?" Yes. Yes there is. The movie is updating the classic original, with "The Killing" star Joel Kinnaman in the lead role and Gary Oldman as the scientist who created him.

Tragically, the film is being shot in Toronto instead of Detroit, where the original was supposed to take place. The logline for the reboot describes the setting simply as "a crime-ridden city."

Jackson is having quite a year, coming off the success of "The Avengers." He is also starring in Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained," which is sure to make an impact later this year.
