Gwyneth Paltrow's kids think she sings for a living after Country Strong

This isn't really surprising given that Paltrow has been learning how to play the guitar and has been singing for the last year in preparation for her role in the up and coming movie Country Strong.

Whilst the kids do have a famous singer in the family – English lead singer with band Coldplay, Chris Martin, who is married to Gwyneth – the two children seem convinced that it is their mother that is the crooner in the family rather than their dad.

Gwyneth, who has starred in many hit movies such as Sliding Doors, Shallow Hal, Shakespeare in Love, and Iron Man, spoke about her kids' misconceptions stating: “They know I work but they think I do singing. They probably saw me for a year practising my guitar and singing and they think that’s my job.”

She also said that her kids, who are aged six and four years, did not really know that they even had a famous mom, adding: “They don’t know what I do – or rather Apple does now because people in her class know and they say, ‘Oh, I saw you in a magazine.’ And you’re like ‘Oh, God. I’ll have to deal with all these questions that will inevitably be coming’, but I try to separate it. I’m like Oh, my God. They know I’m in the movies and stuff, but I don’t think they really fully get it and I don’t show them or really get into it.”
