Guess Which Netflix Show Has the Most Viewers
by Andy Neuenschwander
Netflix is famously quiet about the ratings for its shows...after all, with no advertising space to sell and no cable companies to deal with, the company really doesn't need to make their numbers public.
However, Netflix has given us at least a glimpse of what the ratings landscape looks like for their original shows, and you might be surprised as to which one is #1.
As it turns out, "Marvel's Daredevil" is Netflix's top-rated show in terms of percentage of subscribers, with 10.7 percent of Netflix subscribers having watched at least the first episode of the series. Compare that to "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," which brought in 7.3 percent, and "House of Cards," which brought in about 6.5 percent.
Of course, that's only one measurment of a show's success. When you compare the full season of "Daredevil" to a full season of "House of Cards," the Kevin Spacey drama wins with 6.5 percent of subscribers tuning in for the full season.
It should be noted that these numbers were pulled from polling 2,500 subscribers, and only included those who watch on a computer, smartphone or tablet. The agency who did the number crunching hasn't found a way to incorporate those who watch on television sets just yet.
