'Grey's Anatomy' Spoilers: 'Explosive' Relationships and Other Drama

'Grey's Anatomy' Spoilers: 'Explosive' Relationships and Other Drama The upcoming musical episode of "Grey's Anatomy" isn't until March 31st (I know, we can't wait for it either), but there is still plenty of good stuff to look forward to this week. Shonda Rhimes and the cast have opened up a bit about what to expect for the rest of the season, and there are some pretty juicy hints about the relationships at Seattle Grace.

But before we continue, I'm contractually obligated to say SPOILER ALERT!

There will be a time jump in the early part of May sweeps, advancing all of the relationships a bit.

When the action picks back up, Lexie and Avery will reportedly still be a couple, and with the jump they might have been together for a while already. So what about Mark?

Chyler Leigh let slip that Mark is "devastated" by Lexie's new relationship, but that he might not make any moves for a while: "We don’t really see much interaction between Mark and Lexie in the next couple of episodes," says Leigh, "I’m sure it will come to a head [the next time] they’re in the same room together for more than a few minutes."

Show creator Shonda Rhimes has the dish on Cristina and Owen: "I don't think the end of the season is going to be easy for any of our fans, but I think it's going to be pretty explosive for the Cristina-Owen ones." Explosive? Does that mean a good kind of explosive or a bad kind of explosive? It couldn't mean another baby, could it? It seems like babies are all over the place on this show right now.

"Grey's Anatomy" starts back up after a month-long hiatus tomorrow, March 24th. Here's a preview clip from tomorrow's episode, "This Is How We Do It."
