'The Great Gatsby' Character Posters!

Warner Bros. has finally released its final, major character poster for “The Great Gatsby”—that is the steely-eyed Leonardo DiCaprio as Gatsby himself.

The film, due out next spring after getting its release date bumped back, features DiCaprio alongside other heavy hitters like Carey Mulligan as Daisy, and Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway.

It also presents Joel Edgerton as Tom Buchanan, Isla Fisher as Myrtle Wilson, Jason Clarke as George Wilson, and the stunner Elizabeth Debicki as golf-playing and sometimes girlfriend of Nick, Jordan Baker.

The posters are gorgeous, which is in keeping with director Baz Luhrmann, known for the decadent “Romeo + Juliet” and “Moulin Rouge.”

Maguire looks sharply at the camera, slick and cool, while Mulligan manages to pull off both coy and innocent in a beautiful pink dress. Edgerton looks rather menacing, and Fisher sassy and sharp-shooting. Debicki is seductive and beautiful in silver and black.

Each poster has a short quote from the novel underneath the character. Maguire’s ominously notes, “Reserving judgment is a matter of infinite hope… I come to the admission that it has a limit.”

The movie is adapted from the classic novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and follows Nick Carraway, a small-town boy who heads to Long Island and finds himself becoming entrapped and entranced by the luxuriant lifestyle of neighbor Jay Gatsby, whose obsession with the married Daisy Buchanan leads the group into a downward spiral and to eventual tragedy.
