'Gossip Girl' Star Denies Rape Accusation

More women are speaking out about their experiences with sexual harassment and assault at the hands of men in Hollywood. The accusation of an actress against Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick is especially shocking, however, since, if true, it clearly rises to the level of criminal sexual assault. Westwick strongly denies the accusation and even denies that he knows the woman making it.

“Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick denied a claim he raped an actress three years ago — and says he doesn’t even know the woman.

Kristina Cohen detailed the alleged sexual assault, which she claims happened at Westwick’s home, in a Facebook post on Monday night.

“I do not know this woman,” Westwick, 30, wrote on Instagram on Tuesday. “I have never forced myself in any manner on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.”

Cohen, 27, wrote that she was briefly dating a producer who was friends with Westwick, and when they went to the actor’s home, he propositioned the couple.

“I wanted to leave when Ed suggested ‘we should all f—k,'” she wrote, adding that her boyfriend didn’t want to leave, so she went to take a nap in a guest bedroom.

Cohen claims she was later woken up by Westwick penetrating her with his fingers.

“I told him to stop, but he was strong. I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f—k me,” Cohen wrote. “I was paralyzed, terrified. I couldn’t speak, I could no longer move. He held me down and raped me.”
