“The Good Place” actress D’Arcy Carden thinks it’s the right time for the hit NBC sitcom to come to a close.

“It’s super sad, but it also feels really right somehow,” Carden, who plays Janet on the show, told Page Six at the ATX TV Festival on Saturday, adding it feels like “a breakup with someone that you’re still in love with, but you know it’s not forever. You’re like, ‘We can end this at a good place.'”

Carden, 39, told us the cast found out back in the fall, and Marc Evan Jackson, who plays Shawn, the boss of the Bad Place, said he found out two or three months ago.

“Each and every one of us are amazed that Ted Danson didn’t blow it,” he joked to us. “He told hundreds of people about the Season 1 spoiler and we’re amazed it didn’t get out there.”

The cast is halfway through filming the final season, and Carden said it has gotten emotional on set.
