'Glee' Won't Return with Final Season Until 2015

'Glee' Won't Return with Final Season Until 2015 The fall FOX schedule is out, and one show is conspicuously missing: "Glee."

The musical/comedy/drama/constant PSA is returning for a sixth and final season, and until today fans assumed that they would be able to see the beginning of the end of "Glee" in Fall 2014. However, with the release of the network's schedule today, it turns out that "Glee" fans will have to wait until 2015 before they see any more.

The bump likely means that the season will have fewer episodes than a normal season, but that's not yet confirmed.

The move also comes amid rumors that Naya Rivera had been fired from the show due to drama between her and co-star Lea Michele. Rivera and the producers behind "Glee" have both denied said rumors, however it remains to be seen how many episodes Rivera will appear in from this point on, as the actress was said to have been edited out of the season five finale.

FOX also announced a number of other big schedule moves, including shifting "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" to Sundays in between "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy," breaking up what would otherwise be a block of all animated shows. The network likely has some increased confidence that the show can survive the switch due to the Golden Globe wins for the show and for star Andy Samberg.

Also, for those of you looking forward to watching the Batman prequel series "Gotham," your big night of television this fall will be Mondays, as the show will air at 8pm weekly followed by "Sleepy Hollow."
