'Glee' Star Chris Colfer is Writing Two Young Adult Books!

'Glee' Star Chris Colfer is Writing Two Young Adult Books! Golden Globe winner Chris Colfer, who stars as Kurt on "Glee," is giving the term "triple threat" a new definition: the actor/singer is soon to be a published author!

Colfer is currently working on a set of young adult novels titled "The Land of Stories." The books will take the fantasy genre and mix it with our modern world as it follows a set of twins who find a faraway land where fairy tale characters are real. With the upcoming "Snow White" films (with Lily Collins and Kristen Stewart), a "Sleeping Beauty" re-telling, and the TV show "Grimm" coming this fall, Colfer's fairy tale books should get a nice boost from what could be the next fiction fad.

This isn't Colfer's first attempt at writing, either: the "Glee" star is also writing and starring in the indie film "Struck By Lightning," and is also currently writing a pilot for Disney. The Disney pilot, entitled "The Little Leftover Witch," is an adaptation of a children's book that centers on a young witch who is adopted by a new family when she falls off her broom.

So not only is Colfer writing these three projects, he's also currently performing in the "Glee Live!" tour, which will be followed fairly soon after by filming for season three of "Glee." I guess this explains why we've seen solo albums from castmates Mark Salling and Naya Rivera, but not from Colfer.

Is Colfer now the hardest-working guy in Hollywood? He's certainly giving James Franco a run for his money.
