'Glee' Star Amber Riley Wants a Michael Jackson Tribute, But Might Get ABBA Instead

'Glee' Star Amber Riley Wants a Michael Jackson Tribute, But Might Get ABBA Instead "Glee" has covered Michael Jackson before: the show featured "Thriller" and "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" in the past couple of months. But that isn't enough for Amber Riley, who plays young diva Mercedes in the hit FOX show.

"We did a mini tribute to Michael Jackson, but we really want to do a full tribute to Michael Jackson because his music is so timeless," said Riley.

It sounds like if she had her way, there would be an entire Michael Jackson episode (and I don't think anyone would argue). Riley also mentioned that she would like for "Glee" to cover Janet Jackson as well. How about both at the same time? "Scream" anyone?

Adam Anders, the executive music producer for the show, has other ideas...particularly, covers of ABBA songs. Anders said he would enjoy some covers of the 70's pop group because of his Swedish heritage, and because he thinks the harmonies would sound great coming from the "Glee" cast.

Anders also mentioned that he thinks it would be "really cool" to cover "Africa" by Toto. I'm not sure "really cool" is the phrase I would use to describe Toto, but to each his own.
