'The Glee Project' and 'The World According to Paris' Among Oxygen's Summer Premieres

'The Glee Project' and 'The World According to Paris' Among Oxygen's Summer Premieres The Oxygen network has announced its summer premieres, and those who are fans of "Glee" or Paris Hilton (or both) will be very happy.

"The Glee Project" will premiere on Sunday, June 12th. The show will take a pool of 12 contestants with singing talent and have them compete for a spot on the actual "Glee."

The winner will reportedly get a 7-episode arc on the third season of "Glee." Darren Criss (Blaine on "Glee") will appear on the first few episodes of "The Glee Project" to help guide the contestants.

The production of "The Glee Project" also comes with the rights to "Glee" re-runs, which will start airing on Oxygen in 2013. "Glee" fits right into Oxygen's target audience, so it's no wonder the channel has been working to get it.

Paris Hilton's new reality show "The World According to Paris" has also been announced, with a premiere of Wednesday, June 1st. Hilton has been kicked off the reality TV throne by the Kardashians, and is looking to make a comeback with this new program.

Other Oxygen projects in development include bridal reality show "Maids of Drama," college grad docu-drama "My Post Grad Life," and a tattoo competition show titled "Best Ink."
