'Glee' Guest Stars: Lindsay Lohan and Whoopi Goldberg to Appear
by Andy NeuenschwanderIt will still be a couple of weeks until "Glee" is back on the air, but the cast and crew are already hard at work to bring you the remainder of the third season. We've already seen some celebrity guests (some good, some not so good, others downright terrible), but it looks like we'll be getting two more big ones.
Whoopi Goldberg has signed on for a multi-episode arc this season, and will reportedly play a professor at NYADA, the New York arts school that Kurt and Rachel are hoping to attend. Chances are pretty good that Goldberg's character will be heavily involved with their auditions for the school, and that's probably a good thing for the duo. After all, Whoopi can't be so mean as to turn them down, can she?
But the bigger name, or at least the more interesting one, is Lindsay Lohan. The starlet/felon is on her big comeback tour after completing her community service, having recently appeared on "Saturday Night Live" to mixed reviews. Lohan will reportedly be appearing as herself in the Nationals episode, and will be one of the celebrity judges for the competition. Since it's Lohan, you have to assume the show will try to use her more, and in the past there has been some screen time for the Nationals judges.
However, this pretty much confirms that Ryan Murphy has gone back on his "fewer guest stars" promise for this season. With Ricky Martin, Jeff Goldblum, the awful NeNe Leakes and the mother of all celebrity cameos Lindsay Lohan on the show, this is definitely a celeb-laden season.
