'Glee' Creator Ryan Murphy Developing New Reality Show

'Glee' Creator Ryan Murphy Developing New Reality Show Ryan Murphy is already a busy man, but he's about to be even busier.

The "Glee" creator has signed on to develop a new reality show for Fox 21 (a production branch of 20th Century Fox) called "Model Apartment." The show will take us inside the competitive world of modeling, set in Manhattan. There aren't many other details out right now, but already it sounds like an opportunity for drama.

Murphy is already committed to "Glee" of course, and is also developing "American Horror Story" for FX. With Murphy on board for the FX pilot, how much time can he really commit to a new reality show?

Fellow "Glee" producer Dante Di Loreto will be working on "Model Apartment" as well, along with Douglas Keeve, so Murphy might not even have much of a hand in it.

This news comes after Ryan Murphy dropped out of the "Annie" remake starring Willow Smith, so obviously whatever role he plans on taking in the development of "Model Apartment" will be less that what he would have put into "Annie."

Fox 21 has had some success with scripted shows like "Sons of Anarchy" and "Breakout Kings," but haven't done much in the world of reality TV since "Beauty and the Geek." It will be interesting to see if their new slate of reality shows take with audiences.
