'Girl Meets World' Sets Premiere Date, Gets New Trailer

'Girl Meets World' Sets Premiere Date, Gets New Trailer Ladies and gentlemen, your spin-off has arrived!

"Girl Meets World," the spin-off of the classic 90's sitcom "Boy Meets World," has been a subject of much discussion on the Internet ever since it was announced. A while back, we even got a look at the first clip from the show.

But the premiere date for the show had been kept under wraps...until now.

"Girl Meets World" will premiere on Friday, June 27 at 9:45pm on the Disney Channel. Yeah, we know...9:45 is a weird start time. We're guessing that means that it's either an extended episode, or more likely there's some kind of preamble to the show, perhaps a look back at "Boy Meets World" to remind you about Cory and Topanga's relationship.

The premiere date comes with a brand-new trailer, one that reveals a lot more footage than the last and shows some of the supporting characters and premises to the show. For starters, Cory will be his daughter Riley's teacher at her middle school, which has to be embarrassing for her. There's also a pretty adorable moment where Riley does the classic Cory "I'm outta control" and totally nails it!

If late June is too long for you to wait, there's some good news: If you're a verified subscriber to the mobile app Watch Disney Channel, you'll be able to watch the pilot on your computer, tablet or other mobile device as early as May 21.

We may have to sign up just to see if we can catch an appearance by any of the returning cast members in the pilot. Of course Fred Savage and Danielle Fishel will be there, but word is that Rider Strong (Shawn), William Daniels (Mr. Feeny) and others will be making cameos throughout the first season.
