Gillian Anderson Becomes David Bowie in 'American Gods'

The X-Files legend Gillian Anderson has tried her hand at becoming Aladdin Sane himself as she channelled the late David Bowie in her newest role.
The 48-year-old actress has revealed herself to be the spitting image of the music icon in a teaser clip of Sunday’s episode of the controversial American Gods.
She will play New God Media in the Starz show – and will take on a series of different forms including the Starman in one charming clip.
New God Media is sent to confront Technical Boy for his misdeeds and channels Bowie to get through to him.
The character takes on the form of whoever they need to in order to manipulate those in her presence– and that form will include celebrities.
