'Ghostbusters' Returns to Theaters... For One Night Only

Brace yourselves! In honor of its 30th anniversary, the "Ghostbusters" will be re-released into theaters...

However, there's a catch! It's for one day only.

August 29th will usher the classic comedy back onto the big screen for one brief glorious day.

And, there's more - unfortunately, only 700 theaters will be participating. Cross your fingers (but not the streams) that one of those will be near you!

The anniversary celebration will also feature special events, collectible merchandise, and a release on Blu-ray.

The flick starred Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver.

Will this whet your appetite for "Ghostbusters 3," a project finally underway? Original director Ivan Reitman has stepped down after the death of his friend and star Harold Ramis, but will remain in the project in a reduced role. No word yet on whether the original cast is set to officially appear.

As much as we might hope for it, a 3rd "Ghostbusters" won't be hitting theaters until 2015, so best grab your movie tickets and get in line for the original as early as possible.

Who ya gonna call to go with you?
